STEP 1: Submitting Your Application

Our team of experts will assist you in preparing a compelling application that is neatly aligned with your chosen college’s standards, which comprises:

  • Reviewing and editing your application

  • Fine mapping your supervised training, clinical experience, and procedural logbooks according to Australian requirements

  • Aligning your overseas fellowship and examination components to meet your respective college’s expectations

  • Incorporating impactful professional statements showcasing your clinical, academic, and leadership contributions

  • A pre-submission quality check to ensure readiness and completeness


STEP 2: Specialist College Interview Preparation

Once applicants are shortlisted, we provide a comprehensive 1-on-1, 60-minute virtual interview preparation session to enhance your performance. The mock interview comprises:

  • Specialty-specific interview questions based on your discipline

  • Detailed guidance on communication style, clinical judgement, and cultural expectations in Australian healthcare

  • A complete video recording for self-review at any point in time

  • A written feedback report within 24 hours, highlighting key strengths and areas requiring improvement


ADD-ON: Premium Subscription

The following steps are available only under our Premium Subscription package.


STEP 3: Development of Final Job Application Documents

Once your application form and/or existing CV have been reviewed, the Emergency Focus recruitment team will:

  • Prepare a professional Australian-standard CV, tailored cover letter, and selection criteria responses

  • Ensure all documents are crafted to meet public health recruitment standards and selection panel expectations

  • Customize content for your specialty and target job levels (Registrar, Fellow, Specialist)


STEP 4: Document Review & Job Promotion

  • Finalized documents are shared with you for feedback and all requested revisions are addressed promptly for complete satisfaction

  • The team proactively promotes your profile and shares job listings relevant to your specialty via our trusted network of hospitals, recruiters, and agencies across Australia


STEP 5: Job Interview Coaching

Once shortlisted for an employed role, you will receive:

  • A 60-minute final mock interview via Zoom, tailored to your job application

  • Focused coaching to ensure you are fully prepared for selection panels and local hospital expectations


Service Options

Basic Service Fee: A$2,000 + GSTIncludes first detailed consultation, guidance on application, and feedback via email with further instructions.

Premium Service Fee: A$3,000 + GSTIdeal for those on tight timelines. After a 90-minute initial session, our team will assist in completing your application form and CV according to college requirements.

  • Priority processing

  • CV completion within 3 to 4 weeks (maximum 2–3 edits)

  • Note: No service guarantees a positive outcome, as college interviews contribute significantly to the final decision.

3. How long does the whole process take?

Timelines vary depending on your package. Standard applications generally take a few weeks, while Premium Service applications are prioritised and fast-tracked.

4. Will you write my CV and cover letter for me?

5. Do you help with specialist college interviews?

No service can guarantee a positive outcome. Final decisions rest with the specialist college and selection panels. Our role is to maximise your application’s quality and prepare you thoroughly.

9. When should I notify you about my college outcome?

As soon as you receive an outcome from the college, please notify us immediately so we can schedule your interview preparation session without delay.
