Liverpool Hospital Emergency Focus workshop

Important points 

• Timings 0800am - 4:30 pm both days (Please be punctual) 
• Total number of CPD learning (hours) 15 hours
• All prior learning can be done via App (instructions in email on registration) 

Day 1 

• Emergency procedures (Airway management Bag valve mask + Rhythm recognition + CPR & Cardioversion)
• IV cannulation and Suture workshop
• Case based approach to common hospital cases ( Neurology, Cardiology, Trauma, Paediatrics) 
• Radiology workshop: Interpretation of Chest X-ray, upper limb and lower limb and CT head)  

Day 2 

• Simulation Stations (Trauma, Cardiac, Medical, Paediatric) based on common hospital emergencies in small groups 
• Communication Stations (Conflict, Ceiling of care and Breaking bad news) 
• ECG Workshop:  20 ECGs every doctor must know 
• Career Guidance (CV, Applications and Interviews)

1 month access to Clinical Orientation Course by Emergency Focus

• TOP Orientation course for IMGs at your tips via iOS or Android app or PC or Mac instructions via email 
• Access to all orientation sessions and workshops videos for 1month (from the date of registration)
